SPACE
EXPERIENCE
BRIEF : To design a spatial experience which evokes the emotion PRIVILEGED
The ability to have a choice in what you do is a privilege.

PRIVILEGED

A privilege is a special right or advantage that only one person or group has. To privilege someone or something means to treat them better or differently than other people or things rather than treat them all equally. Privilege means that some of us have advantages over others for any number of reasons we don’t control — like who we are, where we come from, the color of our skin, or certain things that have happened in our lives.
Even when things haven’t come easy for some people, they can still have privileges that others don’t have.

CONCEPT
The purpose of creating an experience around the emotion privilege is to make people understand that having privilege isn’t about deliberately demanding something – it’s just about the circumstances of your life that give you benefits you never asked for.
So finding out that your privilege gives you a head start in achieving these things can be shocking – it challenges what you’ve always thought to be true. That’s why, to a certain extent, it makes sense that you haven’t always been aware of your privilege, and even that it’s hard to get used to the idea of having it.Embrace the uncomfortable realities of what it really means to have privilege. That’s the empathy that can help fuel the fire for the change that will, in the end, benefit all of us.
